As part of the Annual Gathering of Women’s Associations organised by the City Council of Manises, we delivered the “Tables of Experience” session, conceived as a space to reflect on the different forms of gender based violence that remain present and, in many cases, normalised in everyday life.
The session combined theoretical input with participatory dynamics, placing the experiences of participants at the centre. This created an environment of listening, trust and mutual recognition, where many women were able to share their experiences and put words to situations that often remain unseen or unspoken.
Beyond the session itself, the value of the encounter lay in opening a collective space where individual experiences become shared knowledge and where communication is understood as a tool for care and transformation.
