The UN LGBTI Stakeholder Group is a global coalition of organisations and activists, facilitated by Outright International, COC and RFSL, working within the Major Groups and Other Stakeholders framework to ensure that the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals reflects the realities of LGBTI people worldwide.
Operating at the intersection of international policy, human rights and sustainable development, the group engages with key UN processes such as the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, regional forums and Voluntary National Reviews. Its work focuses on advocacy, knowledge production and coordinated stakeholder engagement to ensure that no one is left behind in practice.
As Secretariat, Tania leads the coordination and strategic direction of the group. This includes convening stakeholders across regions, structuring advocacy priorities, and ensuring coherent engagement with UN processes. The role also involves guiding the development of collective positions, facilitating collaboration across civil society, and translating community priorities into policy-relevant narratives.
This work connects global advocacy with national and regional processes, strengthening the visibility and integration of LGBTI perspectives across SDG implementation.
